I have a new post on the Foodista blog about what do do with all the blackberries I just bought at the farmers market. Now I’m thinking I should just add some sugar, puree them, and make mimosas. Or get some gin. Your thoughts?

Day two volunteering at IFBC was all about non-stop heavy lifting: tables, chairs, wine, water, plates, and the like. I worked my ass off! What a whirlwind volunteering at the IFBC! Unpacked hundreds of copies of Eating Local, sliced 300 buns for Jason Wilson’s delicious black cod “BLT”, met all kinds of people, including Morgan Spurlock. I’ll be volunteering for the next three days at the International Food Blogger Conference. I have no idea what I’ll be doing but I plan on having a damn good time and meeting a ton of people! Look for frequent updates on Twitter.
