Pulled a well-chilled bottle of 2008 MacMurray Ranch Sonoma Coast Chardonay given to me my Gallo. I know, I should be drinking Picpoul, no?
I have to say that there is nothing wrong with Chardonnay. And oak. Together. As long as the oak influence is gentle and there’s some acidity.
