I went to one of my favorite spots for wine in Seattle, Le Caviste, to meet up with Dana from Foodie Saveur. Was it hot outside? Yes. Did I drink red wine? Indeed.
Dana was so intrigued by my willingness to drink red wine during a day of elevated temperatures she asked me to share secrets to enjoying red wine amidst baking temperatures. (Note: it was nice and cool inside Le Caviste; not kiln-like. And this phone screen shot reflects Dallas, Texas, where I am writing this blog post while at TEXSOM. And, good news: you can see temperatures have cooled off from the 105 degree weather of the last few days.)
